"A little over 3 years ago I made the decision to get sober for the last time and become the man God designed me to be. I was an alcoholic, pillhead, and anything else that came along for over 25 years. One night sitting alone taking shots of vodka, I ran across a competition held by the supplement company MTN OPS. It was a makeover challenge consisting of the physical, social, and spiritual aspects of change. That very second I prayed to the Lord — if you give me the strength to quit drinking and change my life, I will give you my full heart. I subsequently won the challenge, $30,000, and my life back. Since then my goal has been to help others do the same. This is how The Forged Union was born and how I became a Soldier of Christ."
